Tonight, representatives from Aspire Oxfordshire, Landsec and pampeano will swap their beds for sleeping bags and spend the night outdoors at University Parks as part of CEO Sleepout Oxford 2026.

The event takes place from 8pm on Thursday 8 October until 6am the following morning, bringing people together to raise funds and awareness around homelessness.

Taking part for Aspire are William Powlett Smith, Chair of Aspire’s Board of Trustees, Marc Green, Head of Fundraising and Communications, and Parinaz Ghasemi, Senior Communication Officer joined by three colleagues from pampeano and four from Landsec.

Their participation reflects something particularly important to Aspire: tackling homelessness cannot sit with charities alone. Local employers, businesses, supporters and communities all have a part to play.

One night with a bigger purpose

Choosing to sleep outside for one night cannot replicate the reality of experiencing homelessness.

For those taking part tonight, the sleepout is an opportunity to use their voices, networks, and connections to raise money, start conversations, and keep homelessness visible.

For those taking part tonight, morning will mean packing away a sleeping bag and going home. For many people experiencing homelessness, there is no such certainty.

Local businesses stepping up

We are particularly grateful to Landsec and pampeano for joining Aspire tonight.

Three members of the pampeano team and four colleagues from Landsec will be taking part alongside Aspire’s representatives, helping to raise funds and awareness through their own networks.

Support from businesses like these extends well beyond one night. By choosing to get involved, organisations can help amplify the work of local charities and bring new people into conversations about homelessness and disadvantage across Oxfordshire.

Help us make tonight count
